1954 Belair Hot rod
This is a car I’m building for myself its been an ongoing project that I did the body work and rust repair on In 2007 . I finally had the time to bring this car in the main shop at the end of aug 2009 and have been building the frame and doing body modifications since that time . The modifications consist of a 1955 belair dash a 1956 belair front bumper 55 rear bumper ends installed on the original 54 center 55 headlight eyebrows . The engine is a 502″ gen 6 big block Chevy with Edelbrock heads ported with a victor Intake I used to run this Engine in my old 67 Chevelle and it ran 10.50s at that time . I have installed a Tremec magnum 6 speed . The rearend Is a sheetmetal 9″ Housing with a Moser 35 spline 4.11 gear wavelock posi notice the 56 one piece front bumper and the new 55 belair Dash both are alot of work especially the front bumper but In the End the subtle changes will make for a very cool Hot Rod Keep looking back for more changes in the future .
